Another Update
V´s brother sent these. The builder thought it would help with drying things out if we went ahead and installed the woodstsove - so here she is in all her glory. The story of how we found her here.

That looks great and v similar to ours - it can give out an awful lot of heat especially if the wood is dry. I like the hearth - is it slate?
ReplyDeleteYes, slate has been laid in the bathrooms, boiler room, laundry area and under the woodstove and cookstove. I was expecting something a little less uniform, but it looks swell.
