First Frost

Made it to the end of November.

  3. It is pretty, but chilly while I´m getting the fire going in the morning. We´re more inland and at a higher elevation so we don´t get the warmth of the coast - but we have clearer skies, which is important.

    Brr! Frost is beautiful but very cold and it washes the colour out of the local environment. Out of interest, what is the first plant, it sort of looks like a Cape Gooseberry to me, but I'm really not sure?

  5. It´s a 4 ft. rose standard. For some reason, V likes plants pruned to look like lollipops - azaleas, box, gardenias, roses, etc.
