They´re a little more raspberry than I´d like, but it was what Ikea had, and they add a air of Victorian bordello to the place. I may have to get a potted palm. I´m now on the hunt for a fabric store in La Coruña where, rumor has it, they sell fabric by the kilo. Oh, the possibilities.
In the meantime, these keep the cooking smells out of the living room and the heat from the wood stove from dissipating through the kitchen windows.

ReplyDeleteThe curtains look great against the stone walls (nice stone work too). Strangely enough, it is evocative of a Roman Villa. Hey, I like the heavy lintel above the doorway too: Very sturdy!
